At a wedding, the drinks table does more than serve drinks. Guests gather there between photos and speeches, cousins compare favourites, and a well-styled display tends to end up in a lot of pictures. At weddings where some or all of the events are alcohol-free, it is also the one drink everyone shares.
Deep's Delights is a family-run Indian-fusion caterer in Calgary. Our mocktail bar is part of a styled catering setup: 13 flavours at $6 each, garnish included, poured and styled on site alongside your food. This guide covers how it works, what it costs and how to plan drinks across every event of your wedding.
Why Mocktail Bars Suit Calgary Weddings
- Alcohol-free ceremonies. Many wedding events are alcohol-free, from a gurdwara ceremony or a nikah to a family mehndi. A mocktail bar gives those events a drink that feels like a celebration.
- Mixed guest lists. At many receptions, some guests drink and some don't: grandparents, children, drivers and anyone who simply prefers not to. A non-alcoholic drink made with the same care as the food gives them something to enjoy too.
- Every guest raises a glass. When the toasts begin, nobody is left holding a water glass.
- It photographs well. Rows of colourful drinks, each finished with its garnish, give your photographer something beautiful to work with.
A mocktail bar also sits naturally at a fusion wedding, where South Asian and Western traditions share the same day.
A Caterer's Mocktail Bar Versus a Bar Rental
It is worth being clear about what we offer. We are a caterer, not a mobile bar company. We don't serve alcohol, and we don't rent out a bar or a cart.
Our poured mocktails come with a styled setup, which is added to your catering order. One booking covers your food, your drinks and the display they sit on, so everything is planned together: the flavours, the colours and the way the table looks. When the drinks belong to the same setup as the food, the whole display reads as one celebration.
Prefer to skip the setup? With pickup or delivery, mocktails come in sealed 12 oz cans instead.
Thirteen Flavours and How to Choose for Your Colours
Our mocktail catering menu has 13 flavours: Mango Mojito, Jaljeera Mojito, Mint Mojito, Lychee Lemonade, Sweet Sunrise, Lal-Ishq (Red Love), Amrud Panna (Guava Punch), Nila Jharna (Blue Waterfall), Jamuni Spritz, Pink Rose Milk (Rooh Afza), Mango Shake, Mango Lassi and Badam Milk.
Choosing by colour is the simplest way to tie the bar to your decor, and a few of the names point the way:
- Red: Lal-Ishq (Red Love), for red and gold receptions.
- Blue: Nila Jharna (Blue Waterfall).
- Pink: Pink Rose Milk (Rooh Afza).
- Purple: Jamuni Spritz; jamuni is the Hindi word for purple.
- Mango: Mango Lassi, for warm mango tones.
Choose one flavour for your palette, or list two or three in the special instructions on your order. Our dairy flavours (Mango Lassi, Pink Rose Milk, Mango Shake and Badam Milk) need to stay cold until serving.

Every mocktail we make is alcohol-free. Pink Rose Milk, Mango Lassi, Mango Shake and Badam Milk contain dairy, and Badam Milk contains almonds, so please check our Allergen Information Sheet for each flavour. While we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we are not an allergen-free kitchen and cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
Mocktails Across a Multi-Event Wedding
Many South Asian weddings run across several events, and the drinks can follow you through each one.
- Roka and family gatherings at home. Canned mocktails arrive with your delivery and go straight into the fridge, with no setup needed. Our roka catering guide covers the food.
- Mehndi and sangeet nights. Bright flavours suit these evenings: order cans with a delivery for a home event, or a styled setup for a hall. See our mehndi and sangeet guide for menus.
- The ceremony. Sealed cans are easy to hand out at a gurdwara reception or a ceremony lunch.
- The reception. This is where a poured mocktail bar comes into its own, styled on site with the rest of your display.
Planning a Punjabi wedding or a multi-day Hindu wedding? Our guides walk through the food for each event. For the smaller gatherings, our canned mocktails guide explains how delivery works, and you can ask us which flavours are available in cans.
What a Wedding Mocktail Bar Costs
- Mocktails: $6 each, garnish included.
- Styled setup: from $750 for Silver, which includes delivery, setup and takedown, risers and display cubes, polished serveware, a printed menu and printed labels for each item.
- Food: the setup is added to your food order, such as one of our mains packages.
Mocktails are priced on their own and are not part of the setup price. For example, 120 mocktails are $720 and a Silver setup starts from $750, so together they start from $1,470 before GST, plus your food. If you would like staff at your event, ask us and we can quote it.
Styling the Bar With the Rest of Your Display
Because the bar is part of your setup, it is styled with your food display rather than standing apart from it. Each tier above Silver adds more:
- Gold, from $1,000: adds custom florals. This is our most popular setup.
- Platinum, from $1,250: adds custom decor tailored to your theme and premium display elements.
- Diamond, from $1,500: adds custom branding, premium linens, candles and accent pieces, and full creative direction.

For a reception with a strong colour story, Platinum adds custom decor tailored to your theme, and Diamond adds full creative direction.
