A Holiday Party at Home That Isn't Another Turkey Dinner
Much of the holiday catering in Calgary is built around dinner to-go, packed for one long table. That suits a quiet family meal, but at a holiday party, guests tend to stand, mingle and drift between the kitchen and the living room.
A party spread works differently: bite-sized Indian-fusion appetizers, individual desserts and, when you want a proper meal, mains with rice, roti, raita and salad. Guests help themselves, and you spend the evening with them rather than at the stove.

An appetizer and dessert party
On Build Your Own, you choose items one at a time. Most items have a 24-piece minimum and go up in steps of 12. Appetizers start from $18 per 24 pieces and desserts from $76 per 24. Popular appetizers include Katori Chaat Cups, Aloo Tikki Sliders, Mini Samosas and Tandoori Chicken Sliders, and dessert favourites include Mango Lassi Cheesecake, Lotus Biscoff Mousse, Gulab Jamun Mousse and Rasmalai Cheesecake.

A full holiday dinner
For a full meal, choose one of our mains packages. Packages start at 24 guests and go up in steps of 12, and every package includes rice, roti, raita and salad.
- Signature: $32 per person vegetarian or $35 non-vegetarian, with 3 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 desserts.
- Grand: $40 or $43, with 4 appetizers, 3 mains, mithai and 2 desserts. Our most popular package.
- Luxe: $56 or $61, with 5 appetizers, 4 mains, mithai and 4 desserts.
Pickup, Delivery or a Styled Setup at Your House
Pickup is free from our licensed kitchen at Kaladi Kitchens, Unit 10, 1420 40 Ave NE. There is no storefront.
Delivery runs from $50 within Calgary to $400 for Banff, Canmore and Red Deer; every area is listed in the FAQ below. With pickup or delivery, cold items such as chaat cups and dessert cups come in the same individual cups you see in our photos, and warm items such as sliders and samosas come in tin warming trays with clear covers. The platters, risers and labels in our photos come with a styled setup.
A styled setup is for hosts who want the table finished before the doorbell rings. Setups are added to your food order, and every setup includes delivery.
- Silver, from $750: setup and takedown, risers and display cubes, polished serveware, a printed menu and printed labels for each item.
- Gold, from $1,000: adds custom florals. Our most popular setup.
- Platinum, from $1,250: adds custom decor tailored to your theme and premium display elements.
- Diamond, from $1,500: adds custom branding, premium linens, candles and accent pieces, and full creative direction.
Risers, display cubes and printed labels come with setups only. A few details are worth settling when you book a setup at home:
- The surface. The display sits on your kitchen island or a table, so tell us which one and roughly how big it is.
- Plates, cutlery, napkins and linens. You can provide your own plates, cutlery and napkins, or add them to your order. Premium linens come with Diamond.
- Timing. We agree with you on what time we arrive to set up and when we collect our display pieces.
Holiday Drinks Every Guest Can Enjoy
Not everyone at a holiday party drinks alcohol. Drivers, kids and anyone keeping it light still deserve something festive for the toast. Our mocktails are $6 each, garnish included, and are added to your catering order.
With pickup or delivery, they come in sealed 12 oz cans that go straight into the fridge; ask us which flavours are available in cans. With a styled setup, they are poured and styled on site. Our mocktail delivery guide explains how cans and drop-off orders arrive.
The menu has 13 flavours: Mango Mojito, Jaljeera Mojito, Mint Mojito, Lychee Lemonade, Sweet Sunrise, Lal-Ishq (Red Love), Amrud Panna (Guava Punch), Nila Jharna (Blue Waterfall), Jamuni Spritz, Pink Rose Milk (Rooh Afza), Mango Shake, Mango Lassi and Badam Milk. For holiday colour, let the names lead: Lal-Ishq for red, Pink Rose Milk for pink, Jamuni Spritz for purple and Nila Jharna for blue.
All of our mocktails are alcohol-free. Pink Rose Milk, Mango Lassi, Mango Shake and Badam Milk contain dairy, and Badam Milk contains almonds. Please check our Allergen Information Sheet before you order. While we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we are not an allergen-free kitchen and cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
Christmas, New Year's Eve and Open Houses: What Changes
- A holiday open house. Guests come and go over a few hours, so appetizers and desserts by the piece suit it best.
- A family Christmas gathering. When the family sits down together, a mains package gives everyone a full meal.
- New Year's Eve. Appetizers and desserts through the evening, and a mocktail for every guest when the countdown starts.
- A party that doubles as a birthday. Celebrate both at once; our milestone birthday guide has ideas.
Ordering Around the Holidays
- Choose appetizers and desserts on Build Your Own, or pick a mains package on the Catering Order Form.
- Send the form. We confirm within 48 hours with a Square invoice.
- Pay a 50% deposit to lock your date.
- Make any changes up to two weeks before your party. The balance is due one day before.
