Deep's Delights is a family-run Indian-fusion caterer in Calgary. Everything is made in our licensed commercial kitchen in NE Calgary. There is no storefront or restaurant. This guide explains how home party catering works with us, from guest counts and menus to delivery, setups and drinks.
Why Calgary Hosts Cater Parties at Home
A party at home is personal. The family photos are on the walls, the little ones can nap upstairs, and the evening can run as long as you like. We cater all kinds of celebrations at home, from baby showers and housewarmings to birthdays, engagement parties and milestone anniversaries.
Most hosts want the same two things: time with their guests instead of the stove, and food that looks like part of the celebration.
Three Ways to Get the Food to Your House
- Pickup. Free from our kitchen at Kaladi Kitchens, Unit 10, 1420 40 Ave NE.
- Delivery. A drop-off at your door, from $50 within Calgary to $400 for Banff, Canmore and Red Deer; every area is in the FAQ below.
- A styled setup. We deliver, set up the display in your home and take it down afterwards. Setups are added to your food order and include delivery.
With pickup or delivery, cold items such as chaat cups and dessert cups come in the same individual cups you see in our photos, and warm items such as sliders and samosas come in tin warming trays with clear covers. The platters, risers and labels in our photos come with a styled setup.
Ordering for Your Guest Count

Appetizer Party or Full Meal
An appetizer party suits showers, open houses and any gathering where guests stand and mingle. Appetizers start from $18 per 24 pieces and desserts from $76 per 24. A full meal suits birthdays, anniversaries and family dinners. Our mains packages all include rice, roti, raita and salad:
- Signature: $32 per person vegetarian or $35 non-vegetarian, with 3 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 desserts.
- Grand: $40 or $43, with 4 appetizers, 3 mains, mithai and 2 desserts. Our most popular package.
- Luxe: $56 or $61, with 5 appetizers, 4 mains, mithai and 4 desserts.
Making a Home Look Styled: What Each Setup Adds
A styled setup turns a kitchen island or dining table into a finished display. Every tier includes delivery.
- Silver, from $750: setup and takedown, risers and display cubes, polished serveware, a printed menu and printed labels for each item.
- Gold, from $1,000: adds custom florals. Our most popular setup.
- Platinum, from $1,250: adds custom decor tailored to your theme and premium display elements.
- Diamond, from $1,500: adds custom branding, premium linens, candles and accent pieces, and full creative direction.
Risers, display cubes and printed labels come with setups only; drop-off orders arrive in their own containers. When you book a setup at home, we plan three things with you:
- The surface. The display sits on your kitchen island or a table, so tell us which one and roughly how big it is.
- Plates, cutlery, napkins and linens. You can provide your own plates, cutlery and napkins, or add them to your order. Premium linens come with Diamond.
- Timing. We agree with you on what time we arrive to set up and when we collect our display pieces.
Drinks at a House Party: Canned or Poured Mocktails
Mocktails are $6 each, garnish included, and are added to your catering order. With pickup or delivery they come in sealed 12 oz cans, ready for the fridge; ask us which flavours are available in cans. With a styled setup they are poured and styled on site. All of our mocktails are alcohol-free. Pink Rose Milk, Mango Lassi, Mango Shake and Badam Milk contain dairy, and Badam Milk contains almonds. While we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we are not an allergen-free kitchen and cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
