Indian Grazing and Catering in Calgary, Banff, Priddis and Beyond

Some of the most beautiful events we cater are not in Calgary at all. They are wedding lunches in the foothills, mountain weekends in Banff and Canmore, and family celebrations in the towns around the city. Our kitchen is in NE Calgary, but our grazing tables travel.

This guide covers where Deep's Delights caters, what delivery costs to each area, and how to plan an Indian-fusion grazing spread for a venue outside the city.

What an Indian-Fusion Grazing Table Looks Like

A grazing table is a long, styled spread of individually portioned appetizers and desserts that guests come back to throughout the event. With our Indian-fusion menu, nearly everything is already single-serve: Aloo Tikki Sliders, Tandoori Chicken Sliders, Katori Chaat Cups, Mini Samosas and Paneer Naan Bites, with Mango Lassi Cheesecake, Gulab Jamun Mousse and Rasmalai Cheesecake cups for dessert.

Every item starts at 24 pieces and goes up in twelves, so a spread scales easily from an intimate lunch to a reception for a few hundred. Build and price your own on our Build Your Own Package page.

Priddis and Azuridge Estate Hotel

Priddis sits just southwest of Calgary, and Azuridge Estate Hotel is one of the most striking wedding venues in the foothills. We recently styled a grazing spread there for a wedding lunch: towers of sliders, rows of dessert cups and trays of savoury bites across a long table, set up before guests arrived and ready for them to help themselves between the ceremony and the afternoon.

A grazing format suits a venue like Azuridge well. Guests mingle through the room and out to the views, and the food is ready whenever they are. Delivery to Priddis, including Azuridge, is $100, the same as Okotoks, which is about the same drive from our kitchen.

Banff and Canmore

We cater larger events in Banff and Canmore, from wedding weekends to corporate retreats. Delivery to Banff and Canmore is $400. The drive from our kitchen is about an hour and a half, so we plan each mountain event around the drive and the venue's access, and we recommend booking well ahead for summer and holiday weekends.

Calgary and the Surrounding Towns

Most of our events are in Calgary and the communities around it. Delivery fees by area:

  • Calgary, Airdrie, Balzac and Conrich: $50
  • Chestermere: $60
  • Bearspaw, Springbank and Harmony: $75
  • Cochrane, Okotoks and Priddis: $100
  • Banff, Canmore and Red Deer: $400

Pickup from our kitchen in NE Calgary is always free. Planning for a larger group? Our guide to catering for 50, 100 or 200 guests covers quantities.

Styled Setup or Drop-Off

  • Styled setup. Our team arrives before your event, arranges the food on risers with labels, and collects everything afterwards. This is how the Azuridge spread was done, and it is the right choice for weddings and any event where the table is part of the decor. See our setup packages.
  • Drop-off. We deliver the food ready to set out on your own tables. It suits cabin weekends, family gatherings and office events.

Drinks That Travel: Mocktails for Out-of-Town Events

Mocktails are $6 each, garnish included, and can now be ordered with pickup and delivery as well as with a styled setup. Our 12 oz canned Lychee Lemonade is made for events away from the kitchen: sealed, chilled and easy to pack into a cooler. Read more in our canned mocktails and delivery guide.

Planning an Event Outside Calgary

  • Book early. Out-of-town events take our team away from the kitchen for longer, so we can take fewer of them on the same day. Summer and December weekends fill first.
  • Share the venue details. The full address, the room, a venue contact and phone number, and any rules about load-in times or kitchen access.
  • Tables and linens. Let us know the table count and size, and whether the venue provides linens.
  • Collection. For styled setups, we will agree a time to collect our risers and display pieces.
  • Timing. Grazing food is at its best within one to two hours of being set out. For longer events we plan quantities and timing with you so the table stays full.
